Grape variety: Historical Tocai (1944)
Vineyard and production area: Selection of grapes from the historic "Belvedere" vineyard, located on a hilltop in the first limestone-clayey belt of Lake Garda in the municipality of Pozzolengo.
Training system: Row crop with guyot pruning.
Vinification and refinement: Soft pressing of the whole grapes, static decantation of the musts, fermentation at controlled temperature in steel tanks. Refermentation in the bottle with at least 24 months of permanence on the yeasts.
The tasting:
Color: Straw yellow with delicate golden highlights.
Bouquet: Fresh and intense with hints of almond blossom and bitter almond. Hints of aromatic herbs leave room for fragrant notes of bread crust.
Taste: Harmonious and balanced with refined fine and persistent perlage well supported by a palpable flavor. Elegant dried fruit background.
Food pairings: lt perfectly matches appetizers especially the ones based on fish and raw seafood. Excellent at the end of a meal to accompany desserts, especially dry ones.
